Interpreter Training
The Role of Interpreters
Department of Education Accreditation

The role of the interpreter can be succinctly described as follows: to successfully transmit information and meaning to the satisfaction of the parties involved.

For the interpreter in the Claremont Project the above statement is the foundation stone of our role. Of course there are other aspects such as the Code of Ethics for Interpreters which help to maintain professional conduct amongst interpreters.

Interpreters in the Claremont Project are placed into one of four groups according to the relevant qualification that the interpreter possesses.
