Deaf Studies is a developmental program, providing a curriculum that ranges from kindergarten to Grade 12. Many of the areas of study are introduced at Kindergarten level and are further developed at Primary and High School levels. Conversely, other topics target a specific age group.

In Kindergarten, Prep, Grades 1 and 2, Deaf Studies is taught incidentally, as part of the class program. In grades 3-6 and 7-10, students meet once a week for formal sessions.

All Deaf Studies classes are taught by a Deaf teacher of the deaf. Deaf visitors and excursions are also included in the program.
