Signing Choir
Over the last twelve years, the number of students involved in the choirs has grown to over 100 students in four choirs - a training choir and touring choir at the high school and a junior choir (grades three and four) and senior choir (grades five and six) at the primary school. The touring choir and senior choirs are led by Ms Virginia Brown, the training choir by Mr Steve Robinson, and the junior choir by Miss Shelley Spearritt.
The choirs have performed at many local and state functions and state-based international conferences. They have performed at Department of Education launches and national functions for organizations such as the Lions Club, Rotary, Save the Children Fund, and the Starlight Organization. They are regular participants at the Hobart Carols By Candlelight and often perform alongside the acclaimed Rosny Children's choir and Ogilvie Choir.
The students and parents involved with the signing choirs see belonging to and performing with the choirs as an integral and enriching part of their school life.
